Whole India and the Asian Countries were praying really hard to make India win in this match as India is only and sole country from Asia to enter the Semi finals of this world cup.
This time MS DHONI got fielding first by losing the toss. It came as a blessing in disguise as we all know that Indian Cricket team in present form is best while chasing runs.
Australia was really good with bat and during the initial few overs we got the feel that there will be no chance for India to win the match. Australia was scoring really fast and there was a need of a wicket. It came on the 5th over with Usman Khawaja wicket. There was constant rise of the score for Australia with fall of wicket at intervals. The innings closed @ 160/6. Aaron Finch was the highest scorer at Australian end. Hardik Pandya took 2 wickets for 36 runs.
The score was really good one and that made the Indian squad bit nervous which very well reflected with quick falling of wickets of Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma and Suresh Raina. Yuvraj scored 21 of 18 balls before returning back to Pavilion.
Like every match this time to the responsibility to take charge of the match came on Virat Kohli. We need to salute this matured young and bright cricket star of India for the command he is showing towards Indian Cricket team.
Magnificent 82 of 51 balls again proved that yes, he is the one who can be called as MR. Dependable. Amazing support and Cool attitude of MS Dhoni gave the partnership a strong footings and India emerged as the winner in this thrilling, tension filled match. India Won by 6 wickets.
It’s the super partnership of Virat and Dhoni which helped India to reach the semi finals.
