Harbhajan Singh Ties The Knot With Long Time Girlfriend Geeta Basra
Ace bowler, Harbhajan Singh has today entered a new phase of his life by marrying actress Geeta Basra. The two, who had been dating for a several years, tied the knot in Phagwara, in the presence of a large gathering of family and friends including Sachin Tendulkar and his wife, and Mukesh and Nita Ambani’s son Akash. The couple had earlier organized a lavish ring ceremony that was attended by more than 500 guests, on Wednesday in the nearby city of Jalandhar.

Both Harbhajan and Geeta choose to wear traditional attire for the wedding ceremony. While Geeta Basra opted for a vintage look, Harbhajan Singh choose to don a simple and classic outfit on one of the biggest days of his life. The outfits for both the bride and the groom have been designed by famous designer, Archana Kochar.
The couple are quite excited about the wedding, with Harbhajan having tweeted about the about the sangeet celebrations and also about being ready for D-day. The bride also had her moments of fun and excitement as she attended an all nighter bachelorette party, a couple of days ago, the pictures of which she shared online.
The couple will be throwing a grand reception for friends and family members on Sunday, Nov 1, in Delhi. The reception is expected to be attended by renowned cricket and Bollywood celebrities including Amitabh Bachachan and Shah Rukh Khan. Unconfirmed reports also suggest that the event might be attended by PM Modi as well.
