Writing a book that combines multiple genres and yet promises to keep the readers engaged till the very end, is not an easy-to-do job. However, Ekta Sinha has managed to achieve this feat in her book The Blazing Moon: Journey to Hell, which offers a great combination of romance, horror, and thrill through an exciting story.
Plot:
Sapna And Vishal works in the same office but in different departments and their chance of meeting one day develops into a deep friendship which soon turns into love. Things are going great between the two before Nainika joins the company. Nainika falls in love with Vishal and wants to get him by hook or by crook. She tries everything to woo him, and this impacts the relationship between the lovers. Then one day, Sapna commits suicide, and things start going downhill for Nainika from that very moment.
Character Development:
The characters developed well, which makes them look realistic and believable. Be it Vishal, Sapna, or Nainika, all the characters add value to the story and make it more interesting and exciting.
Story:
The story takes the readers on a ride to hell? Surprised? Well, the minds tend to get confused for a while. Readers will start wondering about what is going on. But the beauty of the book lies in the fact that the events unfold gradually as the story progresses and clarify everything. The climax is sure to give goosebumps to the readers and chill them to the core.
Writing style:
The author needs to be applauded for writing the book in such a simple and easy language while maintaining suspense and thrill.
The front page is unique and sets the right tone for the readers.
Final Verdict:
This is a must-read book for lovers of romantic thrillers, and I give it 4/5.
