4.5 starsHaving already read and reviewed another book by author Prachi Garg, I was really looking forward to reviewing Super Couples penned by her. Her great writing style and exclusive choice of topics have already made me her great fan and the moment I received my copy of Super Couples, I knew that this relationship was going to be strengthened further. The animated image on the cover page has been chosen to reflect the challenges that modern couples have to face while also nurturing their relationship meant to last a lifetime.
Super Couples explores the idea real life-couples turning into business partners to overcome the challenge of finding reliable and trustworthy business associates. Just like in her previous book, Prachi Garg tells the tale of 19 super couple-prenuers, who extended their partnership into the world of business to initiate their startups and attain considerable success in mainstream industry. These startups cover a wide range of sectors and services and have broken the stereotypes established over ages besides destroying the myth that mixing personal and professional lives does not prove successful. The book not only narrates the tales of the ups and downs faced by the couples while establishing their start-ups but also tells the readers about the hard work put in by the couples. It also promotes entrepreneurial thinking by highlighting the willingness of the couples to take risks and convert every small opportunity into success.
Super Couples brings to fore the idea that extremely compatible life partners have the ability to become successful business associates. It also helps the readers to realize that achieving success in business depends a lot on how well the partners involved understand each other and the extent to which their minds work together.
