Love can change the lives of people for good and can bring hope and happiness to even the most depressed individuals. Last week I read a book based on this idea and it filled me with a sense of joy and even change my perception of love. The book named Our Love Story has been penned by Rohit Sharma and highlights the different ways in which love impacts the lives of individuals. The book features a beautifully designed cover page that reflects the essence of its storyline.
Veronica, depressed by her failure to attain success as a model, the constant sexual exploitation she faces from her casting directors, and the endless struggles of her mother, is on the verge of committing suicide. It is then that she is stopped by Aditya Bakshi, a man with an endearing smile and happy-go-lucky persona, who also happens to be the son of a super-rich business tycoon. Aditya offers hope to Veronica and also provides her the direction to fulfill her dreams, As Veronica settles into the life of her dreams, she and Aditya start falling in love, even though they both feel that they can’t be together. But will their love stand the test of time or are they both using each other for some purpose?
Our Love Story is a book filled with various twists and turns and presents the different aspects of love in a heartwarming manner.  The narration is exemplary and is bound to keep the readers hooked till the very end. The plot of the story is simple and relatable and it is written beautifully and engagingly in a manner that conveys the emotions of the characters easily. The writing style is great and the characters are well-developed and realistic which makes for a great reading experience. Most importantly the book is romantic without being cheesy, which was a big plus point for me.  Overall I was quite impressed with this book that focuses on love and love only and wish Rohit all the best for its success.
