Not Without Your Love By Arvind Parashar – A Tale Of UnConditional Love And Enduring Friendships
Writing love stories that are based on or inspired from real-life stories and making them believable while retaining the interesting plot twists is not something that most writers are able to do. However, Arvind Parashar is one writer who has mastered this skill and his latest book Not Without Your Love is a beautiful love story based in war-torn Afghanistan.
Plot:
Kabir, an enterprising young journalist, is assigned a project in Afghanistan, and the main reason that makes him take up this project is the excitement of meeting his childhood sweetheart Noosha. The project is offered to Kabir by Professor Sizov, whom he considers to be his idol, and who wants Kabir to act as a spy during his tenure in Afghanistan. However, things are not as simple as they appear and Kabir soon finds himself a part of a larger conspiracy that threatens to crush him.
Character Development:
The characters are extremely well-developed and realistic and the manner in which they evolve as the story unfolds is truly praiseworthy. Be it the character of Kabir, Noosh or even Professor Sizov, every character stands apart on its own and also plays an important role in the overall storyline.
Story:
The story is based in Kabul Afghanistan and in the period between 1970’s to 1990’s. It is a beautiful tale of love with several twists and turns that keep the readers gripped till the very last page. The book also reflects the troubles of war and a slight political touch.
Writing style:
The book has been written in a simple and interesting manner with the story spread over several years. It leaves a lasting impression on the readers and restores their belief in unconditional love and lasting friendships.
Final Verdict:
It is well-written book and I give it 4.5/5.

This seems like such an intense story. It’s always fascinating to read love stories set in war times. Those struggles make the relationship challenging but unconditional love prevails.
