Even though I have read several autobiographies, I have never reviewed one. So, when I recently got the opportunity to review the autobiography of Mr. K. N. Malik, one of the most eminent journalists of India, I initially felt quite overwhelmed. The cover page of the book reflects the profession of the journalist with the background formed by a newspaper page and a sketch of his face smoking a cigar superimposed on it. Being well aware of the remarkable life that Mr. Malik has been leading and his reputation as one of the most daring journalists of his time, I was extremely curious to start reading the book.
Like most other autobiographies, the book highlights the various unexpected yet wonderful aspects of the life of Mr. Malik spanning over nine decades. The book begins with a description of his early childhood days when he lived with his family in the town of Sheikhpura, which is now in Pakistan. It also throws light on how he as a young man helped the refugees during the days of partition and also on how he took up a career in journalism and earned much fame for his fearless reporting while working for the Times of India. It provides great insight about the author’s passion to uncover the facts and reveal the truth in a fearlessly dedicated manner. It also tells us about his fearlessness and his drive to publish the facts without feeling threatened or intimidated by the people in power.
The autobiography of Mr. Malik can provide much inspiration to people looking to attain a successful career while following the path of truth, honesty and dedication. The language is easy to understand and follows a smooth narrative making it quite an interesting to read. I consider this book to be a great addition to my collection and recommend it as a must read for everyone.

Wow it sounds like a really good autobiography. It’s always great to read about someone’s life from their own perspective. You really get to know them deeply. And what a privilege to read and review such an autobiography from a well-known journalist.
Autobiography are always a good source of many things we want to know about the personality we idolise,
Reading an autobiography is a huge decision because you will be getting an insight in the lofe of a person which you might or might not like. Loved the way you read a bold book and reviewed it.
At first, I thought the pic is of RK Narayan or Ruskin Bond sir. I have to check this one out.
I also love to read autobiography. But I also never reviewed one. But it’s nice too see you Didi that you executed such a great initiative so nicely. The book is new to me but will add this in my tbr list.
I don’t read autobiographies much but this one looks really intriguing. I think I will give it a try soon. Great post????????.
I usually don’t prefer autobiographies as it sometimes leaves a different opinion about the person altogether.. but this seems interesting… thank u for the recommendation
