Forty-Nine Shades Confused. What do you understand from this title? One name sparked in my mind when I read the title, and that is Fifty Shades of Grey and, I read that book. I was wondering if this story is in the same line or not. So, what it finally revealed when I read the first 3-4 pages of the book? Wow, I got it right and, it’s a desi version of the 50 shades of grey.
The protagonist of the story is the one who is in love with the story of 50 shades of grey. He desired to explore the concept of BDSM in India. If you are under 18, or not in love with matured physical love, then this book is perfect no for you. To show his support towards BDSM, similar to 50 shades of grey, he preferred wearing a tie in grey color. He desired to explore the concept of BDSM in a way that is not just interesting but unique in every sense. Problems started knocking on the door the moment he started to look for an ideal female partner. He did almost everything to find the dream lady matching his desire for BDSM. He requested his female friend to be the partner and even went the extra mile and created some fake accounts online to tap the dream partner for him.
Such silly plans didn’t work in his favor, but he was adamant and ended up giving an advertisement in the newspaper. Guess what…. Finally, one responded to this advertisement. How will be his encounter the lady…. Good, bad or, just worst? To know if you need to read the story…. But will it be worthy enough to read?
Is BDSM so popular in India? How far I know, it’s still not and discussing topic related to weird sexual lives are still not welcome in this nation. But still, if you want to take the chance to read a story centering on such a concept, then go for it. You will like it or not… sorry, I can’t guarantee.
In regards to the writing style, I remained a fan of Deepak Kaul for a long time, but I am interested to know what gave the author the needed kick to pick such a topic for his book.
It will be a good one-time read and interesting too if you are reading a book on BDSM for the first time. The cover page looks cool.
On average, the book deserves 4 stars rating for, writing style and flow of the story. But because the topic is not so pleasing for me, I wish to deduct .5.

Ohhh… desi version of Fifty Shades of Grey!! Sounds great✨ Thanks for sharing!! ❤️
Sounds like something I’ll never read. Haha!
Interesting one. Sadly not for me.
Whoa, that is an interesting topic. But sadly I have to pass this one.
Sounds really interesting
Okay, I don’t think this is one I’ll be reading (I’m not a huge fan of sexually-explicit books), but goodness I laughed when I read the title. While the book might not be my thing, at least the title made me happy, right?
