Mayank, a graphic designer and media researcher, lives with his widowed mother in Delhi. His boss, Kaushik, is focused on ensuring the success of his YouTube channel and increasing his profits. He is willing to do so even by creating divisive content that might cause a stir between different groups and communities. Mayank has little choice but to forget his ideals and provide the content Kaushik desires to earn a living for himself and his mother.
Then, one day, Mayank stumbles upon the social media profile of Nisha and is immediately smitten. Unknown to him, Nisha has come to Delhi from a small hill town in search of a better future. Mayank took advantage of Nisha’s face to make a graphic design. He did that without seeking permission from Nisha. The problem arises because the graphic stands disruptive. It sends the wrong message, which may end up causing social unrest. This act led to far-reaching and unthinkable episodes that impacted the lives of all three and countless others.

Prayaag Akbar has done a great job of intricately weaving the lives of different characters together. It helped to highlight the various issues Indian society faces even today. The portrayal of the struggles and successes of each character makes them look realistic and relatable. It makes the readers feel connected not only with the characters but also with the situation they face.
