I have been a staunch follower of the teachings of Gita from a very young age and hence the very idea of reading and reviewing a book that presented these teachings from a different perspective was quite exciting. Pranay Gupta’s last book in the Spirituality and Leadership series is aptly based on one of the most popular and respected Hindu religious books namely Shrimad Bhagwad Gita. The cover page of the book features a sketch of Lord Krishna, the original creator of the verses, which have become the pivotal work of literature philosophy in Hinduism. As the book culminated in a great series, I felt a completely different sense of thrill and excitement about reading it.
Gita has been acknowledged as one of the best books on spiritual guidance that has been enlightening humankind about leading a more meaningful life for several centuries. Through his book based on this ancient scripture, the author has tried to explain the various aspects of human existence in a simple yet detailed manner. The book aims to help potential leaders understand the philosophies of Bhagwad Gita and their application in the everyday life by the readers. The book brings to fore the importance for leaders to embrace change as a critical aspect of leading their followers to a better future. It also stresses the importance of such individuals to develop self-awareness to ensure their success as great leaders. It also discusses the concept of balance consciousness among leaders in great detail and the role it plays in enhancing leadership success.
Gita: Spirituality For Leadership and Success presents a simplified version of the teachings and philosophies of Bhagwad Gita in a manner that is easy to understand for an average reader. It helps the readers to learn about how people can change their life for the better by focusing on their present, rather than worrying about their future or repenting about their past. It once again highlights the need for potential leaders to liberate themselves from their past mistakes and pay attention to performing their presently assigned roles and responsibilities with utmost dedication and commitment. Each of the 21 effectively composed chapters when read carefully can lead the readers to a richer life and attainment of success through the development of key traits like self-confidence, charisma, self-awareness, and spiritual courage.
I am thankful to Author Pranay as he helped me through his book to get the perfect glimpse of the teachings of Gita.  The book deserves a perfect 5 on 5.
