Most books written about the future, talk about life in a world driven by technology or about space travel or interaction with aliens. However, a few days back I was presented with this book by one of my friends that is about a future that most of us can easily relate to. With the simple title of 2050, the book has been written by Deepak Koul and presents a combination of future events based on the present.
The story is told by the central character who is living in the year 2050 and reminisces about the events of his past life. He begins the story with his memories of Hurricane Katerina, which hit New Orleans in 2005 and caused much devastation and hardships for his family. He then recounts the crisis that the world faced when it was hit by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and further describes how it changed the world. He also describes the victory of Joe Biden as the next president of the USA and how his good governance improved things gradually. He builds upon the various events that occurred between 2005 and 2050 to shape the future.
The book comprises 4 chapters and is written in a simple and easy to understand language. Although it has some flaws, it presents the hope for a great future that makes the readers feel happy and content. Overall it is a lovely book to read and I would recommend it to everyone seeking good entertainment. So far read many books of this author and to me, he is an extraordinary author. He knows the art of writing in a captivating manner turning his readers his absolute fan.

Although it has some flaws, it presents the hope for a great future that makes the readers feel happy and content. Overall it is a lovely book to read and I would recommend it to everyone seeking good entertainment. So far read many books of this author and to me, he is an extraordinary author. He knows the art of writing in a captivating manner turning his readers his absolute fan.

I find the future not fascinating because things didn’t turn out the way “back to the future” presented it XD, but would definitely love to check out this book
