India Right into the Finals of Asia Cup T – 20, 2016

Once again we witnessed a power packed  cricket in Asia Cup 2016 India Vs Sri Lanka Match on 1st March,2016. India once again emerged as the winner and won the match by 5 W. This is not the end of good news for Indian cricket fans. India moved straight into the finals of Asia cup. Smashing 56 (NO) by Virat Kohli from 47 balls made him the Man of the Match once again. Like the last match against Pakistan MS Dhoni again won the toss and selected to field first and chase runs.
Ravichandran Ashwin, Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah all balled really well and took 2 wickets each in the match. Chamara Kapugedera was the highest scorer for Srilanka and made 30 odd runs from 32 balls. Jasprit Bumrah took his wicket and that was a good match changer and helped in controlling the runs of Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka made 138/9 in 20 overs giving a target of 139 to win for India.
India start off with bit disappointment as Shikhar Dhawan was out for 1 in the 2nd over followed by Rohit Sharma for 15  in over No 3. Virat Kohi next took charge and there was a positive change in the match and India ended with 5 W win.  The final score was 142/ 5
Nuwan Kulasekara took 2 W for 21 runs in Sri Lanka side. No doubt that Sri Lanka gave their best in this match but India emerged as the winner with perfect shots both in bowling and batting.
All we need to do is to wait and watch who is going to be opposite of India in Finals. There is one more match against UAE for India on 3rd of March. Bangladesh will take on Pakistan on 2nd March.  Congratulations Virat for the Man Of The match award.
