Yes, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo was one of the most awaited movies of the year and especially Salman fans were crazy to see Sallu Bhai once again on the silver screen after Barangi Bhaijan success. It’s a complete family drama which was well predicted to be a hit. The film directed by Sooraj R. Barjatya star casts Salman Khan, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Sonam Kapoor, Anupam Kher.
The storyline gives the feel and essence of the film “The Prince and the Pauper”. We can see Salman here in double role, one as a king and the other being of a common man. It’s a 4th join venture between Rajshri banner and Salman Khan.
The movie is about a happy man named Prem who believes in charity. He decides to go for a mission and the mission is to meet princess Maithili, who is known as a generous person believing in doing charity for poor and unprivileged people of the society.
The king prefers to lead a common man life far away from his kingdom, but finds it difficult as his evil minded nature brother desires to take the throne away from him. King decides to exchange his identity as king with a common man who looks like him before leaving his kingdom.
What will happen next and how love will blossom in the life of Maithilli will form the rest part of the story. Salman Khan is playing the role of Prem and Maithili played by Sonam. This is the first time venture for Sonam and Salman and both of them looking fabulous on screen.
It will be hard for the audience to predict the story in advance and the story remains a complete suspense till the end. The credit for this solely goes to Sooraj R. Barjatya as he is the story writer of this film. The songs of the film were already a hit before its release. If you are a Salman Fan then go for this movie. Indiacafe24 rates Prem Ratan Dhan Payo with 4 stars.
