U – Umbrella Saga
Bablu: Daddy, do umbrellas ever get tired?
Dad: Tired? No, why would they?
Bablu: Because you see, they always remain standing up. Even when it’s raining so heavily, it still stands straight!
Dad: True! Umbrellas are the yoga masters of the rain. Always calm and always balanced. But but but… things change when there is heavy wind. If the wind behaves naughty, it plans to pick a fight to blow it away.
Bablu: Ohhh! Is that why sometimes they turn inside out? To me, it appears as if saying, “I surrender!”
Dad: Exactly! That’s their way of saying being exhausted. In this way, they say they are tired and need rest.
Bablu: And do they have best friends?
Dad: Sure! Raincoats, of course. But they discreetly think raincoats are not superior to them. They think raincoats are a bit clingy.
Bablu: And boots?
Dad: Boots are the gloomy ones. They always slog around in pools. Umbrellas try to stay above the mess—on a serious note!
Bablu: I think my umbrella needs a vacation. Maybe somewhere sunny.
Dad: Great idea! Let’s take it to the beach. It can act as a sunshade for us to relax under its shed. What say?
Bablu: But what if it gets sunburnt?
Dad: Then we’ll call it a toastyrella.
