I like Durga Pooja. Being maharashtrian durgo pojo fascinating me. The big giant beautiful Durga Mata and the function associated with it really glamorous. I watch almost all movies and from that only I came to know the giant festival of India.
I haven’t watched Gunday n Bulbul but I absolutely loved the Durga Puja scene in kahani. The movie is already mindblowing in every aspect… i loved how Kolkata is depicted in it and the jewel on the crown is the Puja scene. The vibe in all parts of Bengal is lovely during Durga Puja.
I haven’t seen Kahani and gunday. But I love the way Bollywood makes the festival larger than life. It’s a good way to celebrate the love for the goddess, so much beauty and drama makes her advent on Earthe even more beautiful.
Oh yes, you’re right. Durga Pujo has been a part of many festivals. Perhaps because many of the directors, if not all, of the movies you’ve mentioned, are bengalis.I think Rocky aur Rani ki Prem kahani also had durga pujo during the climax scene.

Durham Puja is such a grand festival. I have attended few while I was in India and still etched in my memories strongly. The colors, the sound, vibrancy is just spectacular. Bollywood does give importance to Indian festivals and shows the beauty of these.
Other than ‘Gunday’ I have seen them all and true to words they have depicted the pujo well. Every time I see those scenes I wish that it is nor once a year ritual.

Wow. Good presentation. 👏👏Kahaani is one of the movies which knows how to clutch viewers interest and attention very well.
From the frightening starting to the unpredictable ending, it proves successful to impress the viewer.
The scripting, casting and writing is just fabulous. Every actor gave justification to his/her role , especially Vidya Balan portraying every emotion to the point.
The story is highly intriguing , a treat for suspense thriller lovers.
The only thing which I didn’t like was giving protagonist a bit of luck factor to be alive till the last.
Otherwise nothing will disappoint you.
It is a must watch, just go and add one more great piece to your memory.
