Three Times Lucky By Andaleeb Wajid- Book Review
Three Times Lucky By Andaleeb Wajid – An Unconventional Tale Of Love
Three Times Lucky marks the finale of the Jasmine Villa series written by Andaleeb Wajid. Like the previous two books in the series, the third book is also themed around love, marriage, and familial bonding.
The book stresses the fact that love can happen to anyone at any time, even when they do not believe in it. The book acts as a gentle reminder to the readers that love, in all its forms, is what makes the world go round.
Premise – Three Times Lucky
Athiya is the youngest and the most outspoken and opinionated of the three Hasan sisters and does not believe in the institution of marriage. She gets a job in the office of Farhan Ahmed, the brother-in-law of Ana, who is secretly smitten with Athiya. However, Athiya is not even thinking about romance, let alone with Farhan, until she makes a mistake that is likely to change her life drastically. Before she can think of a solution, Farhan, along with one of Athiya’s friends steps in to save the day. However, this irritates Athiya to no end, even though she finds herself greatly attracted to Farhan. Will Athiya and Farhan ever be able to overcome their differences and become a couple?
Character Development – Three Times Lucky
Like in the previous books, the author has done a splendid job of developing the various characters beautifully and realistically. She has presented the opposing personalities of Athiya and Farhan in a highly convincing manner. Most importantly, he has ensured that the independent and impulsive nature of Athiya is not bound by any restrictions.
Plot – Three Times Lucky
The book is the final edition of the Jasmine Villa series, and has enough emotional content to keep the readers engaged. The plot is set in Bangalore and explores the love story building between Athiya and Farhan. The book also includes characters from the previous two books to highlight the strong familial bonding they share.
Writing Style – Three Times Lucky
The language of the book is quite simple which makes it easy to read and understand. The author has refrained from using heavy words or difficult sentences and phrases to keep the book interesting. The storyline and the flow are quite good and make for an entertaining read.
The cover page design is simple yet beautiful and attracts the attention of readers instantly.
Final Verdict: Three Times Lucky
Three Times Luck is a feel-good romantic tale that is interesting and entertaining for readers of all ages and I give it a rating of 4.5/5.
