Comedian Raju Srivastava Bid Adieu At The Age Of 58

One of the finest standup comedians of India, Raju Srivastava, finally bid adieu to his fans on 21st September 2022. Comedian Raju Srivastava passed away in Delhi at the age of 58. Based on an internal news source, his demise news got confirmed by his family.

Raju got admitted to AIIMS Delhi on 10th August. He complained of chest pain and collapsed when doing his workout at the gym. 

Comedian Raju gave a new dimension to the comedy entertainment industry.

 Raju did it with his comedy acts for many years. He remained one of the most celebrated comedians in the industry.

 Srivastava added comedy and humor to common people’s lives. Raju remained a part of the industry since the 1980s.

“ The Great Indian Laughter Challenge”, one of the initial comedy reality shows of the industry, introduced Raju Srivastava on its platform. He earned recognition as a comic artist in the very first season of “The Great Indian Laughter Challenge ” in 2005.

Raju remained part of many Bollywood movies to add a touch of humor to entertain the audiences. Some of the major films of Srivastava were; ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’, ‘Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon, And ‘Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya’. 

Raju Srivastava born as Satya Prakash Srivastava in 1963 at Kanpur. He bagged the title of “The King of Comedy” The Great Indian Laughter Challenge – Champion. Srivastava was one of the contestants in Big Boss Season 3. The audience loved his stint on the reality show.

Besides being a comedian and actor, Srivastava was a politician too. He planned to contest with the ticket of the Samajwadi Party from Kanpur. It was in the year 2014 Lok Shabha election but later refused on some specific grounds. Afterward, he joined BJP in the same year. He remained a key icon for the Swacha Bharat Abhiyaan. It got initiated by honorable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi.

In 1993, he married Shikha and got blessed with two children, Antara and Ayushman. After spending 41 days in AIIMS hospital Delhi, one of the most loved and respected comedians, Raju Srivastava, left this world. He left behind his family and fans. His demise is a true loss for the industry and fans. 

As a comedy artist, his mission was to bring a Smile to Everyone’s Face.
